Santa Cruz Mountains fruit shines in this combination of 80% Pinotage from the Loma Prieta Estate Vineyard, married with 20% Petite Sirah from the Amorosa Vineyard. Aromas of pomegranate, sassafrass, cherry tobacco, wet earth, and red plum set the table, followed by a savory spread of flavors that travel from red cherry to strawberry vines to raspberry to Damson plum, transitioning to Thuringer, beef salami and light rye, before veering back to red cherry. With a pleasing texture of raw silk, it delivers the goods from flavor to finish.
