The flavors are pretty and spritely, with quince, apricot chutney, Asian Five spice, pepper and hints of incense, including a zesty bit of Meyer lemon. All in all, this wine is a quiet riot of potential, wanting a bit of maturity in order for the dominant oak to integrate. With a little bottle age, this should transform into something amazing. But if you can’t wait, consider decanting for maximum enjoyment.
