A lovely introduction to yet another fabulous estate Pinotage from this most amazing property. Flavors of cranberry coffeecake with cinnamon streusel dominate, along with hints of ripe raspberry, spicy mole, plum jam and whole cranberry sauce made with molasses, mission figs and baking spices. The texture is completely beguiling, like a cross between flannel and chenille, yet the acid never wavers. From what is probably the highest altitude Pinotage in North America, this is astonishingly hightest stuff. |
