2012 Bodo’s Blend, Pinotage, Lodi

This wine is irresistible!  The perfumed and inviting nose hints at sweet dense berry fruits rich with tantalizing “garrigue” wild herb flavors.  In the mouth, grilled red plums and heirloom cherry tomatoes with balsamic vinegar mingle with aromas of wet river rocks, along with spicy Padron peppers. Flavors of savory bloody Mary tri tip, grilled mission figs with prosciutto, roasted peppers and savory sausage stuffed mushrooms swirl around the core of coffee and toasted walnuts.
